Dave Higgins has an extensive career stretching over 30 years in public affairs and strategic communications. He brings a wealth of experience across industry, government and consultancy having worked for the world's largest sustainable packaging company International Paper DS Smith, and both consulting leaders Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He started his career as a trainee in the European Commission in the Directorate General for Telecommunications.

In his most recent corporate position, he played a pivotal part in helping shape industry positions on major EU regulations such as Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) among others. Dave's influence extends regionally, overseeing public affairs and government relations at an international level working closely with policy and decision makers across multiple EU member states. He is passionate about the nexus between geopolitical policy making that impacts industry and shareholder value.
